Heather Davis is a main character on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. She is Rebecca's neighbor and new friend. She used to write an essay about Rebecca's mental issues for her abnormal psych class, but decided she just wanted to be Rebecca's friend and dropped the class. After that she started dating Greg Serrano, who had a crush on Rebecca, and went to work with him at Home Base. She breaks up with Greg in Josh and I Go to Los Angeles!, after she figures out that Greg has feelings for Rebecca. She is portrayed by Vella Lovell .
Heather is a bad ass. She's the stereotype of the chill female millennial. Rebecca considers her to be the coolest person she's ever met. Heather's parents always supported their daughter's decisions, including her decisions to quit things, so she has no notable ambitions. She wins her first award when she wins the title of Ms. Douche in season 2, episode 4 (When Will Josh and His Friend Leave Me Alone?). She is trying to kick this bad habit of giving up on things.
Heather's new neighbor, Rebecca invites her to a housewarming party. At first Heather turns down the invitation, then changes her mind when she sees an opportunity to study Rebecca's mental health and behavior. Heather spends the party following Rebecca around with a camera.
A sad Rebecca goes to Heather for advice. Rebecca wants to eat her feelings in greasy food, but Heather has a better idea. She helps Rebecca find a date on Tinder to pound the bad feeling out of her, with some sex. She finds a guy named Jason and goes with Rebecca to meet him at a bar. While Rebecca hangs out with Jason she finds her own date. Later, in her abnormal psych class Heather gives a report on Rebecca's mental health. Heather decides to quit the class because she'd rather be Rebecca's friend than label her.
Rebecca calls Heather for some drugs and they smoke weed together. High as kite the duo go out for some burritos, then visit Rebecca's therapist,Dr. Akopian . When no one answers the door they go around back and see a prescription pad through the window. Rebecca tries to squeeze through the doggy door to steal the pad, but gets stuck. Dr. Akopian comes home and threatens to have them arrested for breaking and entering. Since they were both high and not in their right mind she lets them go.
Heather invites herself to Greg's overly lavish Christmas dinner. Greg is happy to finally have a witness to the madness that is his mother. Throughout the night Greg is rude to his mother, while she tries to be nice and sweet. Heather sees right through Greg's sarcastic comments and knows the real problem is, he never got over his mom leaving him. With her help Greg finally confronts his feelings and forgives his mother.
Greg invites Heather to join his friends on their trip to the beach. The party bus picks her up and they spend the ride enjoying each other's company. Heather finally meets Greg's friends including Josh, White Josh, Valencia and Darryl.
Heather tells Greg that she really likes him and instead of being happy he grows distant and says they need some space. Later in the episode Greg apologizes for being distant and tries to get her back. Heather forgives him and they go out.
Heather borrows Rebecca's hard drive for her coding class.
Greg gets Heather a job as a bartender at Home Base. If they work together they can sneak away to the stockroom and hook up on their break. At Home Base Rebecca's Greater City Water trial is broadcasting on TV. After seeing everyone pay attention to Rebecca, Greg starts acting weird. Watching Greg's face as he looks at Rebecca, Heather realizes he still likes her. Singing "Don't Settle for Me " Heather tells Greg she doesn't want to be his back-up plan and tells him to follow his heart.
Heather is still working at Home Base with Greg after their breakup. She tries to be cool and act likes nothings wrong, but she's pissed at Greg for choosing Rebecca over her. Heather doesn't want to quit her job, so they're just going to have make things work.
Heather sees Greg and Rebecca talking and based on their body language can tell they're having sex. Rebecca feels bad for not telling Heather, but Heather says she can sleep with her ex as long as it's love. Heather helps Rebecca get the upper hand back in her relationship with some sex advice.
Rebecca goes to Heather for relationship advice. She doesn't know how to tell Greg she likes him, Heather tells her that it doesn't have to be like in the movies. It's going to be special because they like each other not because birds sing.
After attempting to burn some of her exes things Rebecca's apartment sets on fire and she needs a place to crash. Heather and her parents welcome Rebecca to their home and let her sleep on the couch for the time being. Heather's parents treat Rebecca with incredible kindness and hospitality. Heather discovers Rebecca's 911 call was posted online, showing her as a crazy women. Rebecca becomes a big joke and she attempts to reinvent herself by joining the Miss Douche Compeitition and become the new spokesmodel for the brand. Based on the other competitors' slim bodies and looks, Heather thinks Rebecca has no chance, but when Rebecca makes it into the final she insists she goes through with it. Rebecca's having second thought and Heather's parents don't care if Rebecca gives up. Her parents think it's okay to quit halfway there and don't expect anyone to win. Heather has a revelation that her parents never pushed her to her full potential which is why she's never acomplished anything and still lives with them. At the competion finals, Rebecca loses, but in an unexpected twist Heather wins and decides it's time to move out. Rebecca and Heather decide to move in together adn begin their search for a new place.

Heather and Greg met at Rebecca's housewarming party, but didn't start hanging out till the holidays. Heather went with Greg to his mom's Christmas dinner and helped them mend their relationship. After the holidays they started dating. In "I'm Back at Camp with Josh! " Heather tells Greg she really likes him, and has butterflies in her stomach. Greg didn't have the reaction she expected and told her they needed some space and became distant. Greg is scared of commitment and starting a serious relationship, but an old friend helps him to realize he needs to get her back and commit. Greg meets Heather at a park and apologizes. She forgives him and they go on a date. In "Josh and I Go to Los Angeles! " Greg and Heather start working together at Home Base . When Rebecca's Great City Water trial broadcasts on TV, Greg stars acting weird. As Greg stares at Rebecca on TV, Heather realizes he still likes her. She sings "Don't Settle for Me " and tells Greg she doesn't want to be his back-up plan and he should be with the one he loves. Greg goes to Los Angeles to get Rebecca and they break up. After their break up Heather Greg still have to work together. Heather tries to be cool and act like everything's fine, but she's mad that Greg failed her test and picked Rebecca over her. Heather chooses to work through her feelings in order to keep her job.

Rebecca: Is this like a date? Are you guys dating?
Greg: I don’t know.
Heather: Do people still use that word?
Rebecca: Um, yeah. Yeah.
Heather: Cool. Dating. Yeah.
